Yog Darshan is the ancient Indian text on the practice and understanding of Yog, or Oneness. Timeless and universal, its teachings transcend the boundaries and divisions that the human mind places on its perception of reality, whether religious, social, or personal. Study this ancient system of Yoga culminating in the attainment of Kaivalya, the unfolding of the vision of Oneness, enlightened liberation. Through the ages, The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali has been a concise handbook for yogis, providing them with practical, clear advice for keeping them on track towards their goal of the Vision of Oneness. With meditation as its foundation, it continues to lead sincere aspirants to realization of the true, universal nature of themselves and all.
This
course accessible to beginners as well as to students more familiar with
the science and art of Yog. Basic Sanskrit terms are explained leading
to an overall understanding of the subject. The emphasis throughout is
on the practice and understanding of meditation. About the Course CDs In the two CDs included with the course, Brijendra discusses and comments upon the main points in each of the four chapters of Sage Patanjali’s Yog Darshan. The discussions follow the progressive sequence of ideas as they arise in the book. This is a condensed rendering of the salient and practical teachings of Yog Darshan as they help to inspire and guide a practicing meditator and yogi. After listening to the CDs, one can read the manual which elaborates on seven of the essential topics allowing the student to deepen his or her understanding of the subject.

What
professionals are saying about this course: |

I already know the yoga sutras of Patanjali and I need to be certified in order to teach these courses. Brijendra's course is very beautiful and wonderful, each paragraph is a sutra in itself. In fact, I've never read a similar course. It's explained in the light of our modern life and accessible to everybody. Indeed, my knowledge helped me to grasp directly the content (with its Sanskrit words) but it's really a transcendental course. Walid Haddad, Vincennes, France
Now this same experience is available while listening to these CD recordings. How I wish I had that opportunity when I was living in the West, rather then having to take so much time to study various different written, sometimes confusing, editions of Patanjali's work on my own. Listening to these recordings with closed eyes, I not only developed a clearer and deeper understanding of this system of Yog but I also experienced the spaces of meditation that were being spoken about.
