What is praan chintan praanaayaam? Praan is the life force energy that sustains the human existence. Yam means to regulate. Chintan means putting the attention on something precious. The most precious thing is your very breath which sustains the life and your health. Praan Chintan is, therefore, awareness of your breathing. Through these yogic breathing techniques you begin to regulate the life force energy to improve your health and well-being.

 
             

The eight praan chintan techniques on the CD are taught in a specially designed sequence to open up the central nerve channel so that the kundalini (spiritual) energy that is usually lying dormant at the base of the spine or at the navel point, begins to rise up to the highest centers. Then the very happiness channel begins to open as the nerves that create unhappiness, worry, fear and disease are purified, and one begins to experience the state of true unchanging happiness that forever resides within.
